My book, Twelve Twisted Tales, gets released on Saturday, May 8.
It’s a collection of short stories, each with a knockout twist ending. There’s a good blurb here (I wrote the blurb myself, so I promise you it’s good). In fact, you’ll like it so much that you’ll be glad you came to the book launch. This it at the Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar in Melbourne, at 1pm, on Saturday, May 8.

What happens at a book launch?
Typically, the author reads from their new book. Then, after the audience is swept off their feet by the book’s extraordinary literary merit, you purchase a copy to support the author.
At this launch, you will get to enjoy a brief reading from me. However, unlike so many highbrow literary events, the occasion will be very down to earth. The Last Chance is a proper rock ’n roll bar (right down to the band stickers and graffiti in the toilets) and you’re encouraged to kick back with a pint. The Last Chance also has an excellent menu.
Where can I get a copy?
Glad you asked. You can pre-order a copy here: amazon.com/dp/B0928J2T4J
Physical copies will be available on the day. However, please bring some cold, hard cash to buy books on the day.
What do I wear to this book launch?
Wear whatever you’re most comfortable in.
Coming straight from your corporate job? No problem.
Want to dust off the old battle jacket? You’ll fit right in.
Itching to wear your Starfleet uniform? The more the merrier.
Want to come in drag? Hell yes, do it.
How else can I support Tom?
Three things you can do to support me:
- Pre-order a copy. The more sales Amazon records before launch day, the greater its exposure to the number of people who haven’t seen it. That’s courtesy of Amazon’s algorithm, which is expertly configured to squeeze authors for all they’re worth (which, for self-published authors, isn’t much).
- Leave a review once the book’s out. The value of this cannot be stressed enough. The more reviews it has, the more people see it. Again, this is entirely a consequence of Amazon’s algorithm.
- Help spread the word by sharing the event: facebook.com/events/170747768197342/.
